GYO Teacher Apprenticeship Regional Collaboratives
Cohort 2 Opportunity: Grow Your Own Teacher Apprenticeship Regional Collaboratives
The Center for Reigniting the Educator Workforce (CREW) at Dallas College invites regional partners to learn about an upcoming opportunity to receive hands-on support to design and launch Grow Your Own (GYO) teacher apprenticeship pathways.
Informational webinars will provide an overview of the opportunity, expectations for regional collaboratives, and the structured support available to selected cohorts. The application link will be shared during the webinars and posted on the CREW website when the application window opens.
CREW was established to address Texas’s most urgent educator workforce challenges — particularly in high-need fields such as special education and bilingual education, as well as in rural communities. Located at Dallas College, CREW supports school systems, higher education institutions, and regional partners in developing high-quality teacher pathways that reduce barriers and expand access to the teaching profession.
What Selected Collaboratives Receive
Personalized coaching and deep support for pathway design and implementation
In-person and virtual convenings focused on design, launch, and continuous improvement
Structured tools, templates, and guidance to move from idea to implementation
Ongoing access to CREW leadership for strategic problem-solving
This is not passive learning. Collaboratives work together to find solutions, share resources, and grow together.
